A month back if someone told me that inflatables are the best entertainment, I would have probably laughed and called them childish. I remember having inflatable floats and swimming rings when I was young. But you’ve got to believe me, inflatables are an awesome source of entertainment in parties and get-togethers. It happened so that my company had made a great profit this year, and being a good boss, I decided to celebrate this triumph with all my work colleagues. To be honest, all of us had a great bond, and they had all been a wonderful team.
In a week of discussing and searching, I came to the decision that I would host a warm party at a beach house that belonged to a family friend. It was summers; the water would do us all some good. Drinks, check. Food, check. Music, check. I was pretty pumped up about the whole party. I invited all my colleagues, and everyone was really looking forward to it.
Well, the next decision that I made was probably the best decision I had made so far. While scrolling my social media, this ad popped up about inflatable water parks, inflatable slides, and trampolines. Out of curiosity, I visited the website, and I was surprised to know how much the inflatable companies had prospered over the years. The modules, the rides, and all the other adult interactive inflatables had my interest peaked for sure. A bit of searching and I found that the inflatables could also be rented. The best part, the prices were so reasonable.
I was excited like a three-year-old. The site clearly listed the size and dimension of each module and the targeted age group. I started shortlisting the rides and giant water inflatables that would be great for the party. I was really worried though about the material and durability of the inflatables. Nevertheless, I rented the desired inflatables, and I was asked to agree to a few terms and conditions. I was impressed to see how well organized the company was about the refund policies, the delivery, the payment. The whole procedure was simple and understandable.

The payment was to be done 24-hours before receiving, and although the payment method varies according to the company, they are usually flexible. I am not exaggerating, but the delivery arrived not a day late, just as scheduled.
The delivery team was also equipped with the heavy-duty air blowers. The team helped blow up all the inflatables and believe me or not, in about 4-5 hours all the giant water inflatables were blown up and set as per my choice. Observing the helpers, I learned that setting up the inflatables is not difficult at all. A 110V outlet is recommended with no other appliances plugged-in. Throughout the process, the helpers pointed out safety precautions. I learned that the inflatables have to be inflated on flat areas, should not be moved after blowing up, no sharp objects should be handled when near them.
Moreover, all the different modules had a weight limit and operating instructions. Some of the colleagues were single mothers as well so I had arranged for the kids’ water slides and small watercourses as well. Looking at all of it, one would have thought that I was a tycoon starting my very own inflatable aqua park but to be honest, it was a reasonable and worthwhile investment. Gone were my doubts about the durability and safety. I handsomely tipped the helpers when they left me with an instruction manual and one of the air-blowers.
After this deal, I realized how important it is that all kinds of entertainment be affordable and easy to handle. It was no rocket science, so it was easy to handle any mishap during the event.
Then came the most awaited day. It was party-time. It was a day and night stay at the beach hut. What my party friends did not know was about inflatable water toys. Yeah, got a few mixed reactions but totally worth it. The day started out casually, everyone talking, changing laughing until the sun was over our heads. We all threw ourselves at the incredible inflatables and not kidding; we had the time of our lives.
I had rented two to three inflatable water trampolines, which I tell you were super fun. Some of my colleagues did stunts on them, and then some jumped in the air to do a spectacular dive into the water. The trampolines had a jumping diameter of about 5.2 m and had a 4 step easy ladder to climb it. Also, the trampoline was made with 0.9mm PVC Tarpaulin which is not only eco-friendly but also durable, water-proof and temperature resistant. At a time, about 3-4 of us could jump together.
Then we had these colorful giant water slides, and no, they were no kid’s play. Reaching a height of 2.7m with a proper functioning water spray system the thrill of it makes you squeal in delight. There were slides of 1.5m too for a more calm and enjoying experience.

My personal favorite was the blob drop. All of us had so much fun. It was basically that one person would lie at one end of the partially inflatable rectangle and another person would jump from a height on the other end. That way the air inside would propel the person into the air and into the water. The age limit was 10 years and above, so many of my colleague's children were also able to enjoy it.
I had rented a few SUP boards as well, considering they were the new thing in the market. The innovations and ideas people come up with are mind-blowing. The board was similar to that of a surfboard, only lighter, and you could paddle it with an oar hence called Stand up Paddling Boards. During high tides many of us surfed on it, so basically it was 2-in-1 plus they were so much lighter to carry and navigate. The best part, they were pretty wobbly, and we had our share of live bloopers as some of us fell into the water.
As night approached, I pulled out the giant inflatable tents. Yes, we were camping on the beach tonight. While looking for tents, there were so many choices I didn’t know what to choose, so I chose this humongous round igloo-shaped inflatable tent about 3m in diameter and a 2m tunnel and clear as a bubble. It was spacious to accommodate us all as we ate and enjoyed the sunset and starry sky - took only a few minutes to set it up.
To sum it all up, the inflatables are better than I had expected. They are durable, fun and affordable. I was amazed that even when the temperature varied throughout our stay we had no issues. We were expecting wind to be a hindrance, but inflatables can endure winds to a speed of 20mph. Most amazingly when there was a light shower during the day, we had absolutely no trouble, as inflatables cannot endure heavy showers and gales. It was surely a wonderful experience and looking forward to another inflatable water toy party at Halloween.
